Istex Lopi Lettlopi
Lettlopi by Istex is a super cosy and durable worsted weight yarn. The perfect choice for colourwork, Lettlopi is often used to knit typical Icelandic sweaters. It's also a great choice for accessories and homeware.
Icelandic sheep are an ancient breed, and have been native to Iceland for over a millenia. The often harsh environment has given rise to the sheep's double coated fleece; a long outer coat (tog), and a short, fine inner coat (thel), resulting in a beautifully warm and hardwearing yarn.
A ball of Lettlopi weighs 50 grams and has a running length of 100 meters.
100% Icelandic wool.
It is best to wash this yarn only by hand.
